August 16, 2026 - August 22, 2026 Week in Review
Hi.
College started back up last week, and it's going well so far, but of course it's only the first week so I have time to fuck it up still. But let's not think like that. Positive vibes ONLY.
It was a really good week. So fucking good. So many good songs were released.
I hope that positivity can continue for next week. I really want to do good in college. I was thinking about my future, and I'll probably be a linguistics major and Japanese minor. I might do translation or computational linguistics or both.
The JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) is in December, and there's a testing location around thirty minutes away from me...! I assume they only recently added it. I always remembered the closest location being in DC. I just noticed this week, so that's why it's here, in the August 16th Week in Review.
I might go. I might take the N3, but I'll have to study hard. Three months should be more than enough time, since I already have some experience with Japanese.
Taking the test costs $135. I'm serious. I really hope I won't have to waste it, that's a shitton of money just to not pass.
